During the day, campers will receive classroom ground instruction on aviation theory, weather, and other related topics. In addition, they will receive “hands-on” flight instruction flying from the pilot’s seat with FAA certified flight instructors during the course of the week (weather permitting). In the evenings at camp, MATA staff and guest speakers will introduce topics related to missions and mission aviation.

Campers are responsible to provide their own overnight housing and transportation to and from the MATA facility location. Limited hosting may be possible for campers from out-of-state on a case-by-case basis.

Note: Due to TSA restrictions, camp is open to U.S. citizens only.
