Eddie Hooke’s passion for ministry developed as he grew up in three different Christian summer camps between WA and WI. After going to Ecuador on a short-term mission trip, Eddie decided to get his degree at Moody Aviation to use his interests and talents in mission aviation to further the Gospel.
While studying at Moody Bible Institute, Eddie met his beautiful wife at church. She went to Moody to get a degree as a linguist so that she could eventually work as a Bible Translator. Once she earns her Master’s degree in Canada through CanIL. Eddie and Katelynn plan on following their passion of providing the Bible in the heart language of others through aviation and linguistics so that many can come to know the Lord and be disciples.
At Moody Bible Institute, Eddie received his Airframe and Powerplant license to work on aircraft and graduated with an Instrument and Commercial license as a pilot. After working at AeroFlite in Spokane WA as a mechanic on firefighting CL415s and RJ85s, Eddie is working as an intern at MATA as an A&P mechanic and pilot. (Eddie’s FAA certificates: CPL and A&P).
